I would like to thank the Ladies Auxiliary for planning and executing an extremely successful Easter Egg Hunt.   There were at least 50 children running in all directions.  There are copies of Ladies Auxiliary activity sheets in the office.

Congratulations to Wes Bryant who is the winner of the April Sunday Buffet drawing.  In order to be eligible for the drawing, you must submit your e-mail address to the Club to be added to the Club’s address book.  If you do not have an e-mail address, simply call and have your name added to the list.  If you have submitted your e-mail address but are not receiving SCC notices, please call to verify your address.  The next drawing will be held April 30, 2005.

About 75% of member e-mail addresses have been submitted to the Club.  Don’t miss out on special advertisements and event reminders.

With the warmer season approaching activity at the Club is increasing.  If anyone is interested in participating on a committee, please contact Scott or the board liaison.  The Board will also be soliciting volunteers.  Following is a list of all active committees and the board member liaison to each committee.

KARAOKE PARTY

Karaoke is back by popular demand.  Mark your calendars for Dinner and Karaoke on April 16.  This is your chance to check out the talent we have at our Club.  The dinner menu will be announced prior to the event.  Please sign up in Club office.

 

LADIES NIGHT OUT

The Ladies Golf Association would like to invite all lady members to join them Thursday, April 7, 2005.  They will have a light meal, play games and discuss the upcoming golf season.  It will start around 6:00 pm.

TENNIS & LUNCH

Rosemarie Moore will be conducting a ladies tennis clinic April 7 which will include tennis drills and play.  It will start at 10:00 am followed by lunch.  Any questions please call Rosemarie at 323-7953.  You may also sign up by calling the Club office 323-1733.

GREENS RENOVATION PROJECT

 

The greens renovation process is underway.  All greens have been stripped and drainage work has begun.  Holes 9 & 18 have been reshaped.  Although we have had our share of rain, the project is not far off schedule.  The temporary greens have improved and will continue to improve.
