TENNIS
UPDATE
Our courts
are finally completed - lights and all!
Now we need to schedule some activities.
Anyone who is interested in heading up our Tennis
committee, please contact Scott or Bobby. We need someone who will help organize some
events and come up with some ideas on how to best utilize the facility. Tennis balls will be available in the pro
shop soon. Also, if any of you are on a tennis team and want to bring your team
out for a practice one night, please do so. Who knows - we may get a new member
or two!

The Membership Committee in the Spring set a short-term goal of 300 members for the Club.
We are 18 shy of our goal and are making a final push for 18
new members.
The Friday night prospective member get-together at the Club
continues to grow with attendance and interaction. If you have a prospective member in mind,
please invite them to join or contact one of the Membership Committee members
to follow up or make contact.
It was recommended to the Board that the Club have an
organizer or coordinator of family and youth activities. The Board approved and is making contact with
individuals.
The Board also approved our recommendation of a suggestion
box to be placed in the foyer of the Club.
If you have a constructive suggestion or recommendation, please use the
suggestion box.
A new logo was created and presented to the Board. The Board’s recommendation was that we keep
our present logo.
We are presently revising and updating the Club brochure and
should be completed in the near future.
A welcome package is also being formulated for prospective and new
members.
The Committee also recommended that the Club have an annual
employee appreciation day to honor Scott Buntin and his staff and show our
appreciation for all they do for the members.
