STARKVILLE COUNTRY CLUB
NEWSLETTER
OCTOBER 2004
Fall has arrived bringing with it college and high
school football. Other Fall activities have also begun. However, there is still great weather to come
out and enjoy tennis and golf at the Club.
Also, take advantage of the social activities planned this month.
Congratulations to Ross Collins who
is the winner of the October Sunday Buffet drawing. In order to be eligible for the drawing, you
must submit your e-mail address to the Club to be added to the Club’s address
book. If you do not have an e-mail
address, simply call and have your name added to the list. If you have submitted your e-mail address but
are not receiving SCC notices, please call to verify your address. The next drawing will be held October 31.
Special thanks to Andy Mueller for
volunteering his time and equipment for golf course clean up after Hurricane
Ivan.

TENNIS UPDATE
Our courts
are finally completed - lights and all!
Now we need to schedule some activities.
Anyone who is interested in heading up our Tennis
committee, please contact Scott or Bobby. We need someone who will help organize some
events and come up with some ideas on how to best utilize the facility. Tennis balls will be available in the pro
shop soon. Also, if any of you are on a tennis team and want to bring your team
out for a practice one night, please do so. Who knows - we may get a new member
or two!
